Sandra and John have been investment clients since 2009.

I began to look after their portfolio after their previous adviser passed away. They had offshore bond plans in the Isle of Man which, as well as performing poorly, had a dubious deferred tax liability.

I provided full advice and reinvested their savings to a diverse ISA portfolio which generated much-improved returns. Sandra and John are now enjoying capital growth and have made occasional withdrawals for a new car and holidays.

John, in particular, was quite risk-averse at the outset but is now much more confident about his portfolio – so much so that the clients have both added new money and transferred other ISAs to our portfolio.
